My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?)
Join Rob Madge (Acorn Antiques, Bank of Dave The Musical) for a final parade at the Apollo Theatre this year, as My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) returns for its last-ever West End season. This joyful autobiographical show is inspired by Rob’s own childhood, when they attempted to perform an entire Disney Parade in the living room for their nan. With their dad acting as a very unqualified Stage Manager and their mum confusing all the characters, someone had to bring star power… and who else but Rob! Using home video, improvised costumes (from Ariel to Belle!) and catchy songs, My Son’s a Queer is an uplifting and funny love letter to expressing yourself and having the support of your family. Rob brings this WhatsOnStage Award-winning show back for a last hurrah, before heading off to the Palladium to star in its annual panto!
