Mark Rylance reprises his role as Johnny "Rooster" Byron in Jez Butterworth's critically acclaimed play, Jerusalem.
Set on St. George's Day, this searing, satirical examination of what it means to be English, follows Byron as he deals with his troublesome friends, needy son and a vengeful father. During the decade since its premiere, Jerusalem has been hailed as one of the best plays of all time by critics and audiences alike, with The Guardian ranking the play as the greatest theatrical work since 2000.
Alongside Rylance, Mackenzie Crook will also return as Ginger.
This much-anticipated revival at the Apollo Theatre is guaranteed to be one of the biggest theatrical events of 2022.
