The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Adapted from Mark Haddon's best selling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a modern murder mystery told from the perspective of a mentally disabled 15 year old boy, Christoper. As Christopher's life begins to fall apart following his mothers death, he finds his neighbours dog, Wellington, pierced with a garden fork. Christopher decides to investigate Wellington's death for himself, with his search for the murderer leading Christopher to discover some devastating home truths. Christopher battles his urge to obtain his A Level Maths with his immediate desire to visit London in pursuit of the truth. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time won 7 Laurence Olivier awards, including the Award for Best Actor for Luke Treadaway's performance as Christopher and the awards for best sound, set and lighting design.
